Reset passwords for and lock company-owned Android devices<\/strong><\/p>\n

G Suite admins in domains with Google Mobile Management<\/a> enabled can already take actions to protect the data on their users\u2019 mobile devices.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For example, they can require devices to have screen locks and wipe devices when they\u2019re lost or stolen. With this launch, we\u2019re giving admins additional capabilities\u2014they can now remotely reset the password on a company-owned Android device<\/a> or lock the device entirely.<\/p>\n

Reset device password<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As an administrator, you can already reset the Google Accounts password of your users.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now you can even change the phone password of one of your users if he forgot it.<\/span><\/p>\n

This new feature will save you a lot of headaches.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lock device<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If a user loses their device, you may want to lock it until it\u2019s found. This will force users to enter the device\u2019s password before using it.<\/p>\n
